. I like to shoot with a minimal amount of lighting equipment that way I can move quickly and capture the special moments of your wedding day.
This photograph above is shot with natural light and no strobes and I love the lighting in this photograph. I will now tell you why. The lighting is even but has enough shadow to give the subject depth. It was a bright beautiful day. So I took the bride to the front porch of this historic mansion. I wanted a bright background for her but I did not want the light on her to be blown out. I moved her to behind one of the columns on the porch to shade her and then I knew I had the perfect lighting. Even lighting on her face and a bright background to break her up from the background.
