Thank you so much for visiting this Atlanta wedding photographer's blog. I usually blog about recent weddings, vendors or event venues that I think are awesome. This blog is going to be a little different.
I have been meeting with a lot of brides lately and the one thing that they all have in common is that they are all over whelmed with all the decisions that have to be made for a wedding. There are so many articles out there that it can be hard to go through them all. I am going to give out a few useful links to articles that I think would be useful for a Atlanta Bride!
The biggest thing I think that makes most sense when you plan a wedding that is the couple needs to communicate. This gets everyone on the same page on what each person wants. Go over all the details you can think of. Go over how many guests you want, how many people you want in the wedding party, who to invite, if you want to see each other before hand and any thing in particular you want in your ceremony. One of the biggest things that some vendors will not agree with me is to make a budget and stick to it! It will save you money and head aches down the road.
Now a days there are so many apps and websites that you can use to help you plan your wedding. I have had a lot of brides use the Wedding Happy app at https://www.weddinghappy.com/ to help them plan their wedding. It organizes vendors and ideas. Another good website that see just about every bride I work with uses is Pinterst at https://www.pinterest.com/ but don't set your expectations to high! Zola at https://www.zola.com is a great place for organizing your registry. I have been working with weddingwire at https://www.weddingwire.com/ is a one stop shop for finding vendors and making your wedding day planner. As always Google has a app for you also and it is awesome! Google Drive at https://www.google.com/drive/ is a great cloud service that you can store you wedding files and such. Using google you can share these documents with vendors, fiance', and family. You can start lists there and have a spreadsheet to keep you on track.
Once again I will say communicate is the key to saving you headaches down the road. Communicate with your significant other over everything. Communicate with your vendors to let them know what you want. Communication is so crucial to everything and is a great way to start you life together with your significant other.
Thanks so much for visiting! I would love to hear from you and if you have any wedding tips I would love to hear them and share them with others.
