If you are a horse lover, you will love this Atlanta wedding. This Saturday, www.atlantartisticweddings.com had the honor to photograph a beautiful wedding at a horse farm just outside of Atlanta, Georgia. As a wedding photographer, it was my first time working with a horses, and I hope it is not my last. The bride was awesome – she wanted to get started early and had all the horses prepared and cleaned up for the wedding photography. Once she donned her dress, it was time to shoot!

It was a beautiful day in Georgia, and the bride wanted her wedding photos taken with her favorite horse. She actually had two horses: a black one, which she rides often and which everyone loves, and a white one. We didn’t just take photos next to the horses: she did her first shots riding the horse! The white lace dress with the long train over the black horse made for absolutely stunning bridal photos. I was simply impressed that the bride climbed right up on the horse with such a long train! She was one tough bride.

We took the photos with the white horse in an open field, where I chose to back-light the bride and horse.  I love the way the sun rims her hair and horse from behind, creating this soft, fairytale-like feel. It was truly a magical day.
