Joelle and Jeff | The Foundry at Puritan Mill | Atlanta Wedding Photographers

Congrats to Joelle and Jeff! They are such a cute and fun couple! I meet them during their engagement session where we went to several Atlanta landmarks. This is when I learned about them as a couple. Their love of travel and adventure. Their wedding reflected that.

“It doesn’t matter where you are going, it’s who you have beside you.”

The wedding was held at the Foundry at Puritan Mill. It is a large wedding event place located in the heart of downtown. Built in 1921, The Foundry at Puritan Mill was constructed and operated by Puritan Chemical Company. Puritan soap and other cleaning products were manufactured and stored in the building until they were shipped on the neighboring Atlantic Coast Line Railroad. The site served as the Atlanta headquarters for Puritan Chemical Company until 1996. In 2000, the location was purchased by Urban Realty Partners and Weaver & Woodbery Company to be restored and converted into a mixed-use facility.

At 12,000 square feet, The Foundry is a truly dramatic and flexible event space. Original pine beams, expansive skylights, and polished concrete floors offer a backdrop with character and history, illustrating the industrial past and lively present of Atlanta’s popular Westside. The spacious interior affords ample room for the installation of virtually any event—from formal weddings to high-energy social events.

There whole wedding was a reflection of their fun and out going personalities. They gave out hot sauce the spice of life, with their names on it as wedding gifts. Jeff is a beer lover and gave out beer with their on personal labels! These things reflect their tastes for sure! They had so many great vendors! They had Shawn at Simplylit.com for the lighting, they had Gary Braner for the music at musictoremember.com and last but not least they had Alicia Tucker at Finally Forever. Alicia rocked she was the first one there and the last to leave. She also brought her own bubble machine for the exit! Thank you so much to all of you for making Joelle and Jeff’s wedding so special!
