Several weeks ago, Atlanta Artistic Weddings had the opportunity to photograph Puja and Matthew’s cozy engagement shoot in Milton, Ga.
Puja and Matthew’s love story began on a popular online dating website. What had started as a casual conversation via virtual messages led to the pair meeting in person for mouthwatering tacos and margaritas. Puja and Matthew had spent hours talking and laughing about their individual passions for food and travel and adventure. It was apparent the two were more than compatible and shared a strong connection. And what a coincidence for each to learn they both hailed from Illinois and were born and raised 22 miles a part from one another. After dinner, Puja and Matthew prolonged their date to a nearby bar for drinks where their special connection continued to blossom. Their first date lasted until midnight.
The following month, the two enjoyed each other’s company over delicious dinners and drinks and on spontaneous adventures. And in May 2016, Puja and Matthew made their relationship exclusive on Cinco de Mayo with margaritas.
In 2017, the couple decided to get a dog. Raja became an important part of their lives. Because of their fur baby addition, Puja and Matthew outgrew their condo and was looking a home with a yard. It took some searching, but eventually, they found what they were looking for. And on the closing day of their new house, Matthew proposed to Puja. He had arranged flowers on the counter with a heartfelt note. However, her attention was on Raja and his reaction to the new house. She was oblivious to the surprise awaiting her. After passing the flowers five times, Matthew finally had to redirect her attention. Once she saw the flowers and read the note, Puja turned to find him on one knee. She said yes.
The lovely couple will tie the knot later this year in early September.
