David Diener, Photographer
David is one of Atlanta’s best wedding photographers in addition to a world-renowned, nationally published photojournalist. He studied at Appalachian State University in North Carolina where he mastered fine art and fashion photography. Upon graduation, he began working for several archaeology and history companies. While operating on some of the most famous archaeological sites in the country, he mastered his documentary skills and managed large-scale photography projects. Some of his work can be found in the Library of Congress’ photography collection. More recently, his work has appeared in Archaeology magazine, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Down South Magazine, Points North Magazine and Creative Loafing.
As a skilled photojournalist, David combined his talent and experience with his love for people into documenting weddings with an artistic flair. Since 2005, he has been honored to photograph over 300 weddings at different locations in and around the Atlanta area. He is currently a photography instructor at Emory University
Sarah Newman, Photographer
Sarah is a lover of anime, donuts, sushi, sushi donuts (yes, that’s a thing!) and her adorable Boston terrier, Luna. She currently works as a product photographer in downtown Atlanta at a prop rental house for television/film. She also assists on set with a local photographer on television shows shot throughout the city. While photographing food, products and film stills are her main passion, she also enjoys taking pictures of living things, including people, which is why she’s had fun photographing weddings. Although her shooting style is quite different from David’s, she believes the wedding day is all about the bride and groom, and she wants to make sure you come first on your day. Her favorite aspect of photographing weddings is the first look because it’s a special moment and feeling a couple will only share once.
Sarah is a 2016 graduate of the Art Institute of Atlanta where she specialized in food/product photography.
