If you’ve been to our page before, you’ve heard a bit about the incredible team of individuals who make up Atlanta Artistic Weddings. As the newest member of this awesome team, and as someone who assists with the blogs and social media our followers see, I wanted to introduce myself!
My name is Heather Towhey and I graduated from Kennesaw State University almost two years ago in December 2018 with a Bachelor’s Degree in English and a Minor in Professional Writing. I am a huge bookworm, especially when it comes to fiction, which I believe came in handy while I studied different kinds of writing styles, from playwriting to fiction writing to literary analysis. Through my minor, I also learned about how to use language to present yourself in a professional manner when necessary.
I recently joined Atlanta Artistic Weddings in July, assisting David with blog posts and social media. I proofread, and sometimes write, the blog posts we publish every week and it’s a blast coming up with new, interesting and relevant topics our followers will enjoy. I also research and post all of our Fun fact Fridays on our social media accounts, as well as some of the stories you see on Instagram at https://www.instagram.com/atlantaartisticweddings and Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/atlartisticweddings. I love getting creative on social media, and pretty easy too, when you have such amazing photography from David and Sarah to use as the subject!
