As an Atlanta wedding photographer, I love shooting engagement sessions. This week I shot a very special couple whom I have known for a couple of years. When they said that they wanted me to be their wedding photographer, I was so honored! I could not wait to to start shooting with them.

Abbey and Andy have been together for a couple of years now. A funny story I have is that last year I shot the wedding of a friend of Abbey’s. When the bouquet toss came around, Abbey was the one to catch it! When she caught it I knew the wedding was coming soon. Sure enough, a couple of months later I got a call from Abbey saying she was getting married!

We shot at several different locations outside of Atlanta and around Roswell, Georgia. We started in the morning at Leita Thompson Park. It is a cozy little park with lots of beautiful walking trails and an intimate little playground with benches. The walking trails go for miles with some rolling hills, which makes for some gorgeous scenery.

We then left the park and went to downtown Roswell. We walked around and had a blast catching up and goofing off. While I have know Abbey for years, it was nice to spend some quality time with Andy also. He is a very sweet guy and has a great sense of humor. I can see why Abbey loves him so. They are a great couple and are so thoughtful towards each other!

After playing around in downtown Roswell, we ended up at Naylor Hall. Naylor Hall is a beautiful, historic wedding venue. It is a Roswell landmark and makes a wonderful backdrop for photos and weddings! The venue is owned by Sunny Bailey, who is the best host in Atlanta. She is so professional, easy to work with, and knows how to throw a wedding! If you are looking for a great place for your wedding, please check out Naylor Hall. You will be glad you did!
