Atlanta Artistic Weddings Celebrates The Holidays: A Look Back At Some Of Our Most Festive Weddings!

It’s that time of year again! The time where there are holidays to celebrate one right after the other. It has our Atlanta wedding photographers reminiscing about times where our Atlanta couples got festive on their big day. Check out some of these awesome celebrations below!

Valentines Day

Now this may seem obvious because, like the holiday, all weddings are about love. However this one is more of an aesthetic. We’ve had couples with purple and red as their wedding colors. Some have also used roses or rose petals and had heart-shaped decorations. All of these details scream Valentines Day!

Halloween

This might be the most creative theme we've seen. We’ve seen couples and their wedding parties dress up as characters. Weve also even seen a Frankenstein themed wedding cake! There was also even one wedding where the bride and groom had candy splayed out for the kids. We love to see folks getting into the spirit!

Thanksgiving

This one is less common but so fun to see! Its your basic fall wedding, with colorful leaves and possible candle and cornucopia centerpieces. Not to mention fall colors like dark red, dark green, and orange as a color scheme. There was even one couple who did a traditional turkey dance during their reception.

Christmas

These weddings were super elegant and beautiful. The bride can wear a nice winter cape or fur to complete her ensemble and most folks will wear red, green, or gold. One couple even gave Christmas ornaments as favors! It helps that most venues, especially historic ones, decorate for Christmas so you can get photos with the tree and ornaments around the place. We were even lucky enough to have two weddings where it snowed, which is always fun!

New Years Eve

This one has many similar characteristics to other holidays. Like Halloween, this one can have a casual party feel. It will have gold and silver, possibly some sequins, and a grand sparkler exit, same as the Fourth of July. Some couples made the event feel classy by toasting with personalized champagne glasses. This is the perfect holiday to symbolically start this new chapter in your life!
