Natural Light Photography | Piedmont Park | Atlanta Wedding Photographer

I want to share with you one of my favorite shots lately.  What makes it great is how natural it is.  The lighting is natural and the pose is so fun and natural!

As a Atlanta wedding photographer I preach the gospel of natural light! This couple were real troopers and knew what it took to get great photos.  They got up early and arrived at Piedmont Park right after sun rise around 7:30.  That is when the sun is low on the horizon and you have some great lighting.  The other thing about shooting in the morning is that there is no one around.  The busy Atlanta park is a very peaceful place in the morning not like in the afternoon. Me personally, I think when you are taking photos and you have a crowd around you, you become more self-conscious also when you bring a lot of lighting equipment you also become more self-conscious.  When I am shooting I want everyone to be as comfortable as possible.

The best part of the photo is the couple! You can't have a great photo with out a great couple.  This couple was awesome! They were so thoughtful to each other.   You can tell by the way they enjoy laughing and are just fun to be around.  They were playful and a pleasure to be with. She is at home walking around barefoot or in a formal dress.  He may be wearing a sports jacket but he is not stuffy.  They are just like the light.... they are natural!

I want to give a big shout out to Brittney and Cody!  I want to thank them for the honor of being their photographer and I can't wait for the wedding!

Thanks so much for visiting my blog.  I would love to hear from you.  Feel free to drop me note in the contact section of the website and I promise I will get back to you.

Thanks again!

David
