This week’s engagement session was with Emily and Eric. They are really cute couple who are getting married next year in Atlanta. They are both very kind, talented and smart. Emily is finishing up her medical degree and Eric is finishing up his law degree at Emory. They are so thoughtful to each other and were a joy to shoot.

We started before sunrise as you can see by some of the photos. They are not afraid to get up early and have some fun! We walked around the park and shot over by the soccer fields and the lake. We even did a quick trip up Oak Hill at Piedmont Park. All the while were chatting about life and the wedding in 2020. She wore a fun colorful spring dress that was perfect for the day. I especially love the shots we did at the pier at Piedmont Park. That is where she took off her shoes and was able to be herself! When you are shooting a couple the one thing you want from is to have fun and be their selves and boy were they!

I do a lot of photo sessions around Piedmont Park. This time I got a chance to look at some of the original structures that you see there. You can see the original steps and planters around the tennis courts. You can see the original steps and wall by the soccer field. Their is a lot of great history around there.
