We love engagement photo sessions. It is a opportunity for the couple to get the know the photographer and get used to having their photo taken. It is also a more casual relaxed atmosphere for everyone compared to the wedding day. Where you are on a strict time line and being pulled in different directions.

This week I had a great couple and fun engagement session with Caroline and Sam. They are such a great couple! They are having their wedding at Naylor Hall next year. If you have never been to Naylor Hall please do! Sunny and her team make it one the best places in Georgia to have a wedding! We did their engagement session early in the morning. Which is a great time of day. It is nice and cool in Atlanta and the light is great! We started our photo session at Barington Hall a mansion that is part of the city of Roswell park system. We walked around an laughed and some fun taking photos

We then went to Roswell Mill. Roswell Mill is a great spot for photos and is very popular with photographers. We did some photos on the covered bridge and then went exploring around the mill ruins. It was a great time and we even ran into several other photographers there. While there I was explaining that you if you waited for a few minutes you would be able to get some great light in the valley there. We sat around and chatted for a few minutes which was a lot fun. I really got to know them and feel comfortable with each other. Then after we chatted the light appeared as if magic. We took our photos and you can see them above here.
