The Atlanta wedding photographer at AtlantaArtisticWeddings tells your wedding story with Photodocumentary photography
When I am shooting a wedding I am capturing the bride and groom’s story. I feel as a Atlanta wedding photographer I am a story teller with my photographs. Each photo captures a special moment that the bride can recall years later. The way she felt when he mom helped her into the wedding dress they had been talking about since she was a little girl. They way her dad sees her as they walk down the aisle and he realizes that she is no longer his little girl but a woman charting her own path with a husband who loves her as much as he does.

I think capturing this wedding day story is an art. That is why I named my photography company Atlanta Artistic Weddings. It is not just a photodocumentary, but a story told in photographs. Details of the day are captured so later they can be put together to tell a story in photos of a wedding day that the couple can recall the special moments that make the day and they can look back and cherish the photos that tell that story.

As a Atlanta wedding photographer I am honored to be a part of every wedding I shot. I feel I am a servant the story. There are many things a can do to be a the best steward to their story. Make sure that the bride and groom are relaxed by not being to intrusive. That way moments come naturally and the story unfolds to be captured by wedding photography. As I stand to the side and let things happen I can capture the candid moments as they happen. I can capture the natural interaction with the guests and couple. They way the two families come together to celebrate the love the bride and groom share.
I also love the telling the story of wedding traditions in different cultures. Years from now I can imagine the couple showing the photos to their children and tell them about the ceremony. They will tell them about how their mother and father read the Ketubah out loud. Who they got to sign Ketubah how they decorated the Ketubah and who learned Hebrew to sign it. They will share the story of how their best friend learned how to dance friend a dance routine from youtube so they could dance withe rest of the family from India at the Sangeet.

As a Atlanta wedding photographer storyteller I blend photojournalistic sensitivity with a vintage, black-and-white aesthetic to capture the real, unguarded moments that make each couple's day unmistakably theirs; moving quietly through the celebration, they notice the small exchanges—the tear wiped from a cheek, the laugh shared between friends, the quiet breath before vows—and translate those fragments into a visual narrative that reads like a heartfelt story, natural and timeless, preserving emotion over posed perfection.
