When I meet bride and grooms the one piece of advice I always share is this is your wedding. When you announced that you were getting married couples get a lot of well intended advice from family and friends. The main thing couples need to do is keep in mind that it is their wedding. It is easy to get overwhelmed with details and information when planning a wedding but if you keep in mind that it is a day of celebration between two people in love then everything else gets put in perspective.

Everyone celebrates differently. Some people like to have a small intimate wedding with just some close family members. Others like to share it with friends and extended family. What every you choose it is the right choice for you and your spouse. As long as you both agree that is what you want. At the end of the day you are going to be just as married if there were 2 or 2 hundred people at your wedding.

The problem I see that causes the most stress in wedding planning is outside influences. It may be well meaning in family member who has strong religious beliefs or friend who “knows how to throw a party!”. Once again this stress melts away when you the couple talks to each other and keeps in mind that it is a moment in their lives that they want to share with guests. The guests can be just family or friends it really depends on the couple. Guests should remember they are guests and be honored that they were invited to be part of something so special between two people.

What can help with some of the stress too is delegate certain details of the wedding. You can hire a wedding planner that can help you deal with the details of the wedding and can be a go between for the vendors asking the bride and groom a bunch of questions. They can also suggest vendors they have worked with before. If you ask you wedding venue they can help you with vendors that have worked at the venue and did a good job.

I hope this helps. As a Atlanta wedding photographer I want to help the brides and grooms in any way that I can. If you have any questions please let me know and I will be happy to help. You can reach me through the contact section of the website. Thank you so much for visiting this Atlanta wedding photographer’s website.

Thanks again!

David
